Mr Thomas was very good he looked after me, he told me straight what was going on. He said I had a tumour on my kidney and due to its size he said he was going to have to remove my kidney. The day of my operation he told me he had had a look at my scans and that my tumour had shrunk, which he told me cancer would not do. Mr Thomas wasn't 100% certain this was cancer and so he did not remove my kidney, but waited and after a small procedure I had a further scan. The tumour had shrunk again, he there was no need to take it away as it appeared that what ever this mass was, it was not cancer, but connected to my original kidney infection. I am very grateful to Mr Thomas for waiting and double checking. He saved me from having to lose a kidney for no reason. Thank you so much!

I recently had robotic nephrectomy. My care from beginning to end has been amazing. Mr Thomas and his team, made me fully aware of what to expect pre, during and post operation. Putting myself and family’s minds at ease. The whole experience, although being a major operation went as planned with me only having to stay in hospital for one night. The operation is now four weeks ago and I am feeling great.

Dr Thomas has a fantastic bedside manner,he is like you’re best friend ,and tells you things as it is . I would recommend this man to anyone, and cannot fault him in anyway, and my Gp has the same views as us he is a gentleman. Thank you so very much Dr Thomas take my hat off to you. Bryan and Frances

I found Mr Thomas very easy to talk to and he explained things very clearly. I felt I could trust his diagnosis and planned treatment. His care both pre and post operation were excellent.
